Hi, my given name is Michele Ann Jenkins Prodromou and I'm one of thetwo foundersof Wikitravel.

I grew up in theSan Francisco Bay AreaandOahu,Hawaiiand graduated from UCSC inSanta Cruz,California.

Since then I've lived in theKathmandu Valley,Nepal,Geneva,SwitzerlandandLisbon,Portugal. Over the last few years I've been to30 countriesinEurope,Asia, andAfrica.

Currently I'm a part-time information/knowledge management consultant and full time mama to a 1 year old girl (yes, that's one-and-a-half times) and living inMontreal,Canada. Lately, I've been doing more cross-country trips than round-the-world ones...
