My name is Ricardo and I live inBrasília, the strange-but-nice capital ofBrazil. I've travelled a bit through some ofSouth America(a lot within my own country),Europeand tiny bits of theUSA-NYCandWashington (D.C.).

I am also working on thePortuguese-language version of Wikitravelthat startedhere. I've been helping on the translation of many of the project pages and on the creation specific policies too - a hard, low-paying but rewarding job.
As go-between for that version of Wikitravel, I'll have to prepare some monthlyreportsto let users of other language versions of Wikitravel know about what's going on there.
